Two New DFWFPV FRIAs Approved!
Share
DFWFPV has received approval from the FAA for two new FRIAs!
Both of these are located on the Trinity River.
Trinity Overlook Park
This is a common location for our monthly meets. It has a nice set of trees to play in, and when the Trinity isn't overflowing the grass is a nice soft landing area for those "mishaps". If running RID, you will also still be able to fly under the bridge.
Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge
This area is just north of Trinity Overlook Park and is a little more open, but is also better suited for great views of the bridge. This area is often visited by many drone organizations, amateur and professional photographers, and media for the direct line of sight to the cityline.
Many thanks again to the FPV Freedom Coalition (FPVFC) for their help getting these approved for us.
More to come...
